The People's Committee of Tinh Khe commune has just approved a plan to organize a pedestrian street combined with services and night food at the My Khe coastal road.
Tinh Khe Commune People's Committee officially calls on individuals, business households, and businesses to register to trade and do business in goods on the pedestrian street combined with services and night food at My Khe beach, with registration time from January 28, 2026 to February 6, 2026. This is the first "step" of the locality to deploy the pedestrian street along My Khe beach in 2026.
According to the plan, the My Khe coastal road, the section from the mini square stage towards the intersection to Tinh Ky commune (old), with a length of about 800 m, will be organized by the locality into a pedestrian street. This street operates from 5 pm to 10 pm daily. To organize activities in the pedestrian street area, at exactly 5 pm, roads into the area will be barricaded, vehicles will be prohibited from circulating; by 10 pm, these locations will be restored to their original state.
The pedestrian street is expected to be divided into 4 areas including: check-in and art performance area; OCOP product and souvenir area; food, fast food, non-alcoholic beverage area; alcoholic beverage area. In the check-in and art performance area, the locality will organize performance and music exchange activities with a variety of music genres.
The OCOP product and souvenir area is expected to arrange 10 booths using a mobile roof house model, ensuring mobility and compactness. The food, fast food, and non-alcoholic beverage area is arranged in about 20 locations (area of 75 m2/location); the alcoholic beverage area is arranged in about 10 locations (area of 75 m2/location).
In order to ensure lighting infrastructure for the pedestrian street, Tinh Khe Commune People's Committee calls on organizations and individuals to participate in lighting decoration on the street. Sponsors will be entitled to exploit advertising within the scope of socialized investment. The decoration and advertising combination plan must be agreed upon by the Tinh Khe Commune People's Committee before being implemented in the field.
The People's Committee of Tinh Khe commune encourages OCOP product entities, young entrepreneurs, cooperatives and cooperative groups to participate in OCOP product booths and souvenirs. Thereby, both promoting products and contributing to creating highlights and local identity for the pedestrian street.
Mr. Pham Quoc Vuong, Chairman of Tinh Khe Commune People's Committee, said that the organization of the pedestrian street along My Khe beach aims to promote the existing potential of the locality, especially the My Khe seascape; thereby promoting nighttime economic development, creating cultural, tourism and service highlights.
My Khe beach is about 7 km long, the most beautiful and famous beach in Quang Ngai, attracting hundreds of thousands of tourists each year.
