Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tra Giang - Director of Quang Ngai Province Land Registration Office said that after Lao Dong Newspaper published an article reflecting on the fact that 695 households in Duc Hiep commune, Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province had not been granted red books after 7 years of land consolidation, causing public anger, Quang Ngai Province Land Registration Office organized a meeting between relevant units and agreed to issue new red books to people according to current regulations.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tra Giang, currently 695 plots of land have not been granted red books in Duc Hiep commune after the land consolidation and plot exchange without any disputes. Currently, the investor, the People's Committee of Duc Hiep commune, is coordinating with the Quang Ngai Provincial Land Registration Office and many other units to complete the procedures to grant new red books to 695 households. The People's Committee of Duc Hiep commune will organize a meeting with the people, and the Provincial Land Registration Office will send staff down to complete the declaration steps and complete the procedures in accordance with regulations. According to the plan, the declaration and registration will be completed by October 15, 2024. "The granting of red books to 695 households in Duc Hiep commune will be completed in 2024," Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tra Giang affirmed.
As Lao Dong Newspaper reported, on August 9, 2024, the leader of Duc Hiep Commune People's Committee filed a complaint against Mr. H.V.N - former Chairman of Duc Hiep Commune People's Committee and a number of related units for signing a contract to conduct surveying and adjusting cadastral maps to serve the work of adjusting changes and granting land use right certificates for the land consolidation and field improvement project in violation of the law, causing serious consequences.
According to the leader of Duc Hiep Commune People's Committee, in the contract signed by the parties, the land use right certificates were issued for 1,086 plots of land, but only 391 plots have been issued. However, in the file, 1,086 plots of land have been accepted and the parties have paid the contracted funds. Currently, there are 695 files that have not been issued land use right certificates to the people, but have been accepted in a false manner to pay.
The leader of Duc Hiep Commune People's Committee said that the total amount that the investor's representative (Duc Hiep Commune People's Committee) paid to the contractors was over 483 million VND. This has caused serious consequences, causing hundreds of households to be upset over the past 7 years because they have not received their red books. They have petitioned many times, causing insecurity and disorder in the area.
