Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province has trained and transferred techniques in the field of animal husbandry and farming to the delegation of the Department of Agriculture and Forestry of 9 northern Lao provinces.
Within the framework of the program, the trainees were introduced and instructed by experts from Son La province on two important agricultural techniques: extraction and grafting techniques and artificial insemination techniques for livestock.
For extraction and grafting techniques, the focus is on improving fruit tree varieties, quickly multiplying high-yield, high-quality crop varieties, suitable for soil conditions in the Northern Laos. This is one of the solutions to help diversify crops and improve agricultural production efficiency.

The artificial insemination technique for livestock is one of the advanced applications to help improve the stature and quality of livestock, while increasing the efficiency of livestock farming and preventing diseases in livestock farming. Both of the above contents are models that have been successfully applied in Son La province in recent times.
Through the program, delegates had the opportunity to exchange experiences, implementation methods, and practical lessons in the local agricultural production process.
This is a practical activity that contributes to promoting agricultural development and increasing income for people in the Northern Lao provinces. At the same time, continue to foster the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general, between Son La province and the Northern Lao provinces in particular.
