This is an activity in a series of activities in response to Workers' Month - Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. At the same time, this is also an activity to concretize the Program for care, improvement of health and prevention of occupational diseases for the period 2020-2030 according to Decision No. 659 of the Government.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Ngan - Deputy Head of Legal Policy Department and Labor Relations Department of Vietnam Labor Federation said that the goal of the program is to protect, care, and improve the health of workers, encourage lifestyle, healthy nutrition at the workplace, prevent and combat diseases and occupational diseases for workers, ensure the quality of human resources, contribute to the sustainable development of the country.
Ms. Ngan requested: " Localities need to complete the construction of a database for monitoring the working environment and occupational diseases by 2025 and connect with the national data system by 2030. Management of labor facilities has harmful factors, causing occupational diseases.
Health management of workers at workplaces at risk of occupational diseases; 50% of workers at workplaces at risk of occupational diseases are exposed to information on harmful factors, preventive measures and are examined for early detection of occupational diseases by 2025 and 100% by 2030".
