According to initial information, at about 5:30 pm on July 18, Mr. B.V. V. - a worker of Dabaco Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd., located in Truong Giang village, Thach Quang commune - was repairing the electrical system in the fertilizer filter area when he was electrocuted, fell into the pit and showed signs of suffocation.
Discovering the incident, many workers present nearby went down to rescue. However, these people later also showed signs of suffocation.
A total of 7 workers were injured. The victims were then taken to Cam Thuy General Hospital for emergency treatment. However, by dawn on July 19, 3 people had died. Four injured people are being treated and treated at the hospital.
