According to information from the authorities, at around 2:30 p.m. on March 4, a serious accident had just occurred at Km 21+600 National Highway 1, passing through Yen Trach commune, Cao Loc district, Lang Son province.
At that time, the pickup truck with license plate 29K-045.14 was traveling on the route when it collided with a motorbike with license plate 12PA-057.62.
As a result, 2 people died and two vehicles were severely damaged.
According to initial statements, the pickup truck driver admitted that he was sleepy and lacked observation, leading to the accident.
Through inspection, the driver had no alcohol concentration and was negative for drugs.
Immediately after the incident, the authorities were present to handle and regulate traffic on the route. The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified.
