On February 28, news from Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Team 6), Room 6, Traffic Police Department said that they had made a record of handling a case of a driver driving a car to change lanes without turning on the signal on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway.
According to information from functional forces, at 12:34 pm on February 28, 2026, Team 6 received instructions from the Director of the Traffic Police Department on verifying a vehicle showing signs of violating traffic order and safety on the expressway.
Immediately after that, the unit organized a review, verification and clarification of the incident.
Through inspection, the violation occurred at about 3 pm on February 26, 2026 at Km30+500 of the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway.
The violating vehicle is a car with license plate 38H-036.54 driven by Mr. N.M. H. (born 1975, residing in Gia Lai province).
Based on images recorded by the monitoring system, driver N.M. H. committed the act of changing lanes but without prior warning as prescribed when traveling on the highway.
Working with the traffic police force, the driver signed a confirmation, admitted the violation and complied with the handling decision.
The traffic police force made a record of fining the driver with a fine of 5 million VND, and at the same time deducted 2 points from the driver's license.
According to the Traffic Police Department, strictly handling violations on highways aims to raise the awareness of law compliance of vehicle operators, contributing to ensuring traffic order and safety and preventing accidents.
