Ho Chi Minh City installs LED screens on Le Loi Street to serve fans to watch and cheer for the U22 Vietnam team at the 33rd SEA Games.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document on installing an electronic screen (LED) to serve the city's football fans to watch the 33rd SEA Games.

The City People's Committee agreed with the proposal of the Department of Culture and Sports, allowing Ho Chi Minh City Football Joint Stock Company to organize the installation of LED screens on Le Loi Street (from Lam Son Park to Phan Boi Chau Street), Saigon Ward.

The screening is planned for December 15, 2025 (construction and installation from December 13 and site clearance on December 16) and December 18, 2025 ( installation from December 16, site clearance on December 19).

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned departments, branches, sectors and functional units to coordinate in guiding, inspecting and supervising the implementation process in accordance with regulations.

The Department of Culture and Sports is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the program's full compliance with plans on security and order, traffic safety, cyber security, fire prevention and fighting, healthcare, epidemic prevention, electrical safety, etc.

The cost of using the roadside (if any) must be implemented in accordance with regulations. Environmental sanitation before, during and after the event must also be ensured.

At the 33rd SEA Games, the U22 Vietnam team won 2-1 against U22 Laos in the opening match.

At 4:00 p.m. on December 11, coach Kim Sang Sik and his team will enter the final match of the group stage against U22 Malaysia. Currently, U22 Vietnam and U22 Malaysia both have 3 points, but U22 Vietnam temporarily ranked second in Group B due to a goal difference.

Therefore, U22 Vietnam must win to secure a place in the semi-finals on December 15 with the top spot in the group.
