The scale of the school is always maintained. The quality of teaching and learning, and universal education at all levels is constantly improved. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school has 39 classes with 1,235 students, of which the primary school block has 26 classes with 761 students, the secondary school block has 13 classes with 492 students. Universal education work is well maintained, mobilizing 100% of school-age students to attend school every year.
Also during this school year, the school coordinated with the Parents' Association to purchase additional supplies and repair facilities with a total cost of over 60 million VND.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Tran Viet Thang - Principal of the school said: "The emulation movement of teaching well, studying well, striving to become good managers, good teachers, and good students of the school is maintained regularly, the rate of good students has increased compared to the previous school year, the rate of weak and poor students has decreased. In the 2023-2024 school year, the number of district-level excellent students in the secondary school is 24 students; provincial-level excellent students is 11 students; and district-level excellent managers and teachers is 18 comrades".
The school pays attention to the education of ethnic minority students, especially policies such as supporting study costs and students with difficult circumstances who are at risk of dropping out of school. Effectively implement the preparation and enhancement of Vietnamese language for ethnic minority students.
To achieve the above educational development results, Tan My Primary and Secondary School has had solutions and measures such as: Raising awareness for staff and teachers; regularly training and coaching teachers, actively innovating teaching methods in a positive direction, promoting the dynamism, initiative and creativity of learners.
Strengthen the application of information technology in organizing and managing professional activities and learning outcomes; 100% of teachers and staff know how to apply information technology in teaching.
In addition, the school also promotes communication work on education and training. Strengthening coordination with authorities, regularly organizing extracurricular activities to propagate and educate about law, traffic safety, clean water and environmental sanitation, preventing school violence, drowning injuries, etc.
The school constantly strives to become one of the leading schools in education in Lac Son district, while creating a solid foundation for students to develop comprehensively, contributing to the overall development of society.
