The People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province will continue to operate normally after the fire at its headquarters. The scene of the fire has been isolated for investigation and remediation.

Early afternoon of January 13, Mr. Pham Van Trinh - Chief of Office of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee said that the fire inside the provincial People's Committee headquarters did not cause any human casualties.

According to Mr. Pham Van Trinh, the area where the fire broke out was a small meeting room on the ground floor, about 20 square meters in area. The fire in the decorative electrical system caused a lot of smoke, and only burned in the small meeting room, not the entire headquarters.

The fire was completely extinguished, there was no damage to documents or people, only the electrical board, carpet and electronic equipment in the meeting room were burned.

At the time of the fire, the online meeting had ended and all the staff had gone to eat.

According to Mr. Pham Van Trinh, the initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit.
