At around 10am on January 12, a house fire broke out in Ward 6, on Highway 1 bypass, Tan An City, Long An Province.
In a short time, flames and black smoke billowed up, spreading to cover the front room of the house. At the same time, the fire spread to the house next door. People shouted and the homeowner quickly escaped.
Upon receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Long An Province (located about 500m away) quickly dispatched 2 specialized fire trucks and more than 10 officers and soldiers to put out the fire.
In a short time, the fire was completely extinguished. However, many items in the house were burned black.
According to nearby residents, the fire was extinguished in just 15 minutes but burned very fiercely. Fortunately, professional firefighters nearby arrived on the scene in time to put out the fire, preventing it from spreading and reducing damage.
The cause of the fire is currently being verified and investigated.
