In December 2024, the Yamaha motorbike market is recording unexpected developments with a sharp drop in selling prices at dealers nationwide.
This move not only attracts attention from consumers but also creates vibrant competition among motorbike brands in Vietnam.
Actual selling price is lower than suggested price
In the context of the sluggish motorbike market in the last months of the year, Yamaha models are being sold at lower prices than the company's recommendations. This is especially evident in the scooter, manual clutch and popular motorbike segments.
Scooter segment: Models such as Yamaha Grande, NVX, Latte and Freego are being offered by dealers at prices 1 to 2.5 million VND lower than the suggested price, depending on the version.
Yamaha Grande's actual price at the dealer ranges from 44.1 to 49.5 million VND, 1.5 to 2 million VND lower than the suggested price.
Similarly, the NVX 155 model also slightly decreased compared to the listed price, ranging from 55 million VND.
Manual transmission motorbike segment: Yamaha Exciter 155 VVA has an actual price at dealers that is 1 to 3 million VND lower depending on the version. The retail price of Exciter 155 versions such as Standard, Premium, and ABS ranges from 48 to 55 million VND.
In the manual transmission segment, popular models such as Sirius and Jupiter still maintain stable prices and are considered economical choices for consumers.
The actual selling price of Sirius and Jupiter is currently 300,000 to 800,000 VND lower than the suggested price.
New Highlight: Yamaha Lexi 155 Launched in Vietnam
December also marks the launch of the Yamaha Lexi 155 VVA, aimed at consumers who prefer comfort on long journeys.
With a suggested price from 48.5 million VND, Yamaha Lexi 155 is available at Yamaha dealers nationwide, with a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty policy and 6 free maintenance services.
This model is equipped with a 155 cc engine integrated with VVA technology, providing smooth operation, fuel economy and outstanding acceleration. The spacious design and utilities such as a large storage compartment and digital clock face help Lexi 155 quickly receive attention from consumers.
Technology is always changing
Over the past time, Yamaha has continuously invested in technology. Models such as Exciter 155, NVX, Grande and Freego are all equipped with advanced Blue Core engines, ABS braking systems, Smartkey and automatic engine shutdown when stopping.
In particular, the Yamaha NVX 155 with the Y-Connect system helps connect the vehicle to a smartphone, providing detailed information about the journey, vehicle status, and maintenance notifications. This is considered a breakthrough in the application of technology to means of transport.
