According to the list just announced by the provincial police, many vehicles were fined for running red lights at the end of April 2025.

Previously, Bac Giang police said that from April 18, 2025 to April 27, 2025, the police discovered cars running red lights as follows:

34A-340.20; 98C-151.42; 98A-521.63; 98A-35.503; 98A-869.97; 98A-543.30; 98A-812.16; 98A-530.21; 98A-076.49; 98A-846.76; 99A-781.97; 98B-101.14; 29a-175.51; 98A-382.25; 98A-616.11; 98C-296.63; 98A-606.36; 12A-119.36; 98A-422.83; 98A-846.76; 30h-138.87; 99A-043.32; 98A-850.98; 98A-017.03; 98A-765.95; 98A-089.80; 98A-356.85.

The police noted that from January 1, 2025, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulates administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points in effect.

Accordingly, car drivers who run red lights will be fined 18-20 million VND.

To pay the fine, people can go to the police station where the fine was detected or go to the police station to resolve the violation according to regulations.

However, according to the new recommendation of the People's Traffic Police Department, people should go to the headquarters of the traffic police department where they have permanent residence to handle, not go to the place where violations are detected in another locality for handling, which is both overloaded for the authorities and requires long trips.

When coming to handle the fine, the violator needs to prepare some documents. For cars: vehicle registration, certificate of technical safety inspection and environmental protection, driver's license of the violator, citizen identification card of the violator (photocopy 1 copy of each type of document).
