GUM AutoRally has been held annually since 2014 and is the largest and most prestigious antique car competition in Russia. The contest brings a festive atmosphere with classic cars of all kinds. Although the annual route of the parade changes every year, the convoy of ancient cars always passes through the most famous landmarks of Moscow.
The youngest car in this years race is 35 years old, while the oldest is an 85-year-old GAZ-A convertible. The contest has the participation of cars such as ZIL, Chaika, Volga, Zaporozhets, Pobeda, Moskvich and Zhiguli. The average age of the vehicles participating in the contest is 62.
Some are rebuilt with attention and attention to detail while others are the treasures of their car line through many generations. The parade began when the Spasskaya clock signaled and 120 vehicles passed through the route. The main goal for used cars is to maintain the necessary speed and reach control points on time.
