MG ZS down to 378 million VND
The urban SUV market continues to compete in price when the MG ZS manufactured in 2025 is offered for sale by some dealers under 400 million VND.
This price has put MG ZS in a competitive zone with even A-segment cars, instead of directly competing with urban SUVs such as Kia Sonet, Toyota Raize or Hyundai Venue.
Currently, some dealers are offering MG ZS STD version manufactured in 2025 from about 378 million VND, while the LUX version is from about 438 million VND.
This level is 140 million and 150 million VND lower than the listed prices of 518 million and 588 million VND respectively. However, this is the selling price under the preferential program at some dealers, not the newly applied listed price. The actual price may change depending on the dealer, car color, quantity and application conditions.
The current price reduction is mainly applied to cars manufactured in 2025. In the context of the new generation of MG ZS being prepared for the Vietnamese market, some dealers are stepping up sales of older models. Buyers therefore need to directly check the year of manufacture, number of vehicles, applicable conditions and accompanying costs before calculating the total budget.
In fact, the price level of this segment has been continuously pulled down in recent times. In mid-August 2026, car lines in the same segment such as Kia Sonet attracted attention when the listed price of the standard version was adjusted down to 450 million VND, the lowest level since this model was sold in Vietnam. Currently, Kia Seltos is also applying incentives, in which the 1.5L AT version has a listed price of 549 million VND and the announced incentive level is up to 14 million VND.
Approaching Class A cars
A noteworthy point is that MG ZS at 378 million VND is no longer too far from the small urban car group. Some A-segment car models such as Hyundai Grand i10 or Kia Morning have wide listed prices depending on the version, making the actual transaction price of MG ZS able to directly compete with this car group.
This makes the selection problem significantly change. People with a budget of around 400 million VND previously often considered A-segment cars or used cars, now have more access to a high-chassis car model if they find the right discount program.
However, the initial purchase price does not reflect the entire ownership cost. Customers still have to calculate registration fees, registration, insurance, maintenance and other arising expenses. In particular, the price of 378 million VND is a conditional offer and depends on the number of vehicles, so this should not be considered the general price level of MG ZS.

In terms of size, MG ZS has a wheelbase of 2,585 mm, a ground clearance of 170 mm and a luggage compartment of 359 liters. These are parameters showing that the model is aimed at customers who need a high ground car mainly for urban areas and small families. This shows that the current competition is not only in the listed price. The actual selling price, incentives, interest rates and ownership costs are becoming a comprehensive benefit package for manufacturers to attract customers.
