On June 8, news from Can Tho City Police said that Nhu Gia Commune Police had just organized the execution of the Decision to prosecute a criminal case, prosecute the accused and issue a ban on leaving the place of residence for N.C.C (born in 1987, permanently residing in Gia Rai ward, Ca Mau province), to investigate the act of "Violating regulations on road traffic".

Previously, on January 26, 2026, at Km2146+900, National Highway 1, in Rach Sen hamlet, Nhu Gia commune, Can Tho city, a traffic accident occurred between a motorbike with license plate 83PT-314. XX, driven by Mr. T.H (born in 1972, permanently residing in My Xuyen ward, Can Tho city) in the direction from Ca Mau to Can Tho.
When the car moved to the above location, it collided with a car with license plate 51B-040. XX driven by N.C.C (born in 1987, residing in Khom 5, Gia Rai ward, Ca Mau province); the consequence was that Mr. T.H died.

The investigation results determined that Mr. N.C.C had not fully implemented measures to ensure absolute safety for other vehicles when participating in traffic according to the regulation "direction not ensuring safety". Based on documents and evidence collected, the Investigation Police Agency issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, prosecute the accused and issue a ban on leaving the place of residence for investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
The Police force recommends that people seriously comply with the provisions of law on traffic order and safety; not be subjective or negligent when participating in traffic, each individual must raise awareness to contribute to protecting the lives and health of themselves and the community.
