Detained man who smashed car in Tan Phu district
Tan Phu District Police have detained Ung A Nam (born in 1988, residing in Vinh Loc A Commune, Binh Chanh District) to investigate the act of "Property Destruction".
According to the investigation, at around 1 p.m. on January 4, Ung A Nam had a conflict with Mr. D.R.B - the truck driver - while driving on the road. Afterwards, Nam blocked the truck, used concrete bricks to smash and completely damaged the two light boxes and the left side glass of the vehicle.
After committing the crime, Ung A Nam went to the police station to confess and admit all his crimes. On January 5, the Investigation Police Department of Tan Phu District Police issued a decision to temporarily detain Ung A Nam.
Handling of the subject of assault and throwing firecrackers in Go Vap district
Previously, on January 3, Go Vap District Police discovered a clip circulating on social media about a man wearing a technology car shirt assaulting and threatening others with firecrackers. Upon verification, the incident occurred late at night on December 31, 2024 in an alley on Thong Nhat Street, Ward 15, Go Vap District.
The Go Vap District Police Investigation Agency summoned Nguyen Tung Giang (born in 1979, residing in Ward 16, Go Vap District) and Mr. N.T.L (born in 2003, residing in An Phu Dong Ward, District 12) for questioning. The investigation results showed that Nguyen Tung Giang assaulted Mr. N.T.L after a traffic collision, then used homemade firecrackers to throw at Mr. L to threaten him.
Currently, Go Vap District Police have issued an emergency detention order, an emergency arrest warrant, and a decision to temporarily detain Nguyen Tung Giang for the act of "Disturbing public order" and continue to expand the investigation.
Ho Chi Minh City Police said that cases of intentional injury, public disorder, and property destruction stemming from minor collisions on the road or conflicts in life are acts of disregard for the law, hooliganism, and endangering others. Ho Chi Minh City Police advise people to respect the law in all situations and resolutely handle violations.
