Land prices in many areas increase sharply
The land market in many areas on the outskirts of Hanoi and neighboring provinces is witnessing a strong wave of price increases. This trend became more evident in the first months of 2025, when the demand for land increased significantly, leading to escalating prices in many hot spots.
According to the survey, land prices in districts such as Dong Anh, Hoai Duc and Thanh Oai all recorded an increase of 20-30%, even many places increased by 50% compared to the same period last year. Dong Anh area recorded an average price of 60-90 million VND/m2, even some beautiful lots near major roads reached 120 million VND/m2, some areas exceeded 150 million VND/m2.
Me Linh land prices have also increased significantly, many locations previously only fluctuated from 20-30 million VND/m2, now approaching 40-50 million VND/m2. Hoai Duc, especially around the access routes to large urban areas in some areas such as An Khanh, Kim Chung, Song Phuong, Van Canh, is being popularly traded at 70-110 million VND/m2, about 50% higher than the same period last year. A district in Hanoi is preparing to auction more than 3,000m2 of residential land

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a decision on handing over 4,902m2 of land in Cua Lang area, Vai Moi village, Hop Thanh commune, My Duc district to the My Duc District People's Committee to implement the project of Construction of technical infrastructure for auction of land use rights.
The location, boundary, and area of the land for the project are determined in the QH 01 master plan drawing, at a scale of 1/500 adjusted by Viet A Architecture Consulting and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company in 2024.
Of the total area of 4,902m2 of land, there are 3,125.5m2 of residential land; 1,776.5m2 of technical infrastructure land.

Nha Trang temporarily stops building an Administrative Center to avoid waste

On the morning of May 4, Nha Trang City Party Secretary Tran Manh Dung responded to Lao Dong about the implementation of the policy of fighting waste and streamlining the administrative apparatus. Notably, the Nha Trang City Administrative Center construction project has been suspended.
According to Mr. Dung, Nha Trang City Party Committee has directed the City People's Committee to temporarily suspend procedures related to the Administrative Center project (at 114 Hoang Hoa Tham) and report to the provincial leaders to stop implementation.
This decision aims to ensure effective use of the budget, limit waste and comply with the Central's policies and guidelines.
At the end of December 2022, the Nha Trang City People's Council issued a resolution on the investment policy for the Administrative Center project with a total initial investment of 304 billion VND, expected to be implemented from 2022 to 2027. See more
