On October 31, the Electronic Information Portal of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee reported that the Provincial People's Council issued a resolution stipulating the support mechanism for implementing social housing construction investment projects in Binh Duong province.
Investment support mechanisms such as supporting 50% of the cost of building technical infrastructure systems within the scope of social housing projects including traffic works, communications, energy supply, public lighting, water supply, wastewater collection and treatment, solid waste and other works (except technical infrastructure systems inside the works), but support does not exceed 5 billion VND/project.
Support for costs, fees, and charges: 100% exemption from construction permit fees according to the resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the collection, payment, and management of construction permit fees in Binh Duong province.

Regarding administrative procedure support, the Provincial People's Committee directed specialized agencies at the provincial level and district-level People's Committees to review and simplify internal administrative procedures and eliminate unnecessary procedures for social housing projects. At the same time, establish a specialized or semi-specialized unit to manage social housing to support investors when carrying out administrative procedures related to social housing investment projects in the province.
Funding source from provincial state budget.
Focus on supporting projects that do not use public investment capital
The above policy applies to investors of social housing construction investment projects invested by Trade Union financial resources; investors of social housing construction investment projects not funded by public investment capital; investors of commercial housing construction investment projects directly investing in social housing construction within the scope of commercial housing construction investment projects that enjoy incentives for the land area specified in Clause 2 and Clause 3, Article 83 of the Housing Law directly invested in and constructed by the investor; other state agencies, organizations and individuals related to social housing construction investment activities in the province.
