According to statistics from the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, by the end of August 2024, there were 9 social housing projects in the province that were urgently completing legal procedures to start construction.
Notably, there are the social housing area - Dinh Hoa area 5 (Thu Dau Mot city) and the social housing project area - Viet Sing area 6 (Thuan An city) invested by the Industrial Development Investment Corporation - JSC. Currently, the investor is carrying out the procedures for granting construction permits. The two projects will build 3,594 apartments with a total investment of VND 2,943 billion.
Tan Dong Hiep social housing project (Di An city) is invested by Toan Thinh Phat Housing Development and Trading Company Limited. The project will build 882 apartments with a total investment of nearly 900 billion VND. The project is being completed and is expected to be handed over in the third quarter of 2024.
The social housing project (Chanh My ward, Thu Dau Mot city) is invested by the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD). The project will build 978 apartments with a total capital of 772 billion VND. Currently, only the 4th floor of 3/6 blocks of 12 floors has been constructed.
The Hoa Phu social housing construction investment project (Hoa Phu ward, Thu Dau Mot city) is invested by Nam Kim Industrial Construction Investment Joint Stock Company. The project will build a total of 3,347 apartments and townhouses with a total investment capital of VND 2,171 billion.
Regarding progress, after the Provincial People's Committee approves the housing development plan, the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Duong province submits to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the investment policy.
Thong Nhat social housing apartment complex (Binh An ward, Di An city) is invested by Phu My Hiep Real Estate Joint Stock Company. The project will build about 2,620 apartments with a total investment of about 1,700 billion VND.
Currently, the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Duong province is seeking opinions for the second time to complete the investment policy approval process.
The social housing area belongs to the Phu My commercial and service housing area (at lot C2, Phu My ward, Thu Dau Mot city) invested by Binh Duong Forestry and General Import-Export Joint Stock Company. It is expected to build 561 apartments with a total investment of 389 billion VND. The Department of Construction has granted a construction permit in early 2024, and the project is currently under construction.
Thang Long social housing project (Tan Dinh ward, Ben Cat city) is invested by Hai Long Service and Trade Private Enterprise. The project is expected to build 1,063 apartments with a total capital of over 1,025 billion VND. Currently, the project has adjusted its investment policy, is carrying out legal procedures for construction and is under construction.
Toan My Social Housing (Thuan Giao Ward, Thuan An City) is invested by Toan My Corporation Joint Stock Company. The project has a total investment capital of about 1,560 billion VND, expected to provide the market with about 1,204 apartments. Currently, the provincial Department of Planning and Investment is collecting opinions for the second time to complete the submission for approval of the investment policy.
According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the above 9 projects will be completed from now until 2027.
The total number of apartments and townhouses supplied to the market is about 14,250 units. All of the above projects use investment capital from private enterprises (outside the state budget). The total capital of the 9 projects is about 11,071 billion VND.
