The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch regarding the consideration of Cat Tuong Joint Stock Company's proposal on site clearance for social housing.
The document stated that the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province received a request from Cat Tuong Joint Stock Company in the document dated December 7, 2024 regarding the request for site clearance and land allocation to Cat Tuong Joint Stock Company to build Cat Tuong Smart City social housing area in Yen Trung commune and Thuy Hoa commune, Yen Phong district.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the People's Committee of Yen Phong district to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to consider the proposal of Cat Tuong Joint Stock Company in the above document; urgently and focus on resolving each content of the Company's proposals and recommendations in the direction of removing difficulties for enterprises, speeding up the progress of social housing projects according to the Project approved by the Prime Minister; At the same time, advise and report to the Provincial People's Committee if it exceeds its authority; promptly complete the project site clearance and hand it over to the investor for implementation according to regulations.
According to the reporter's investigation, the Cat Tuong Smart City social housing project has a total area of 9.4 hectares. Of which, the project has been handed over about 9 hectares of land, the investor has basically completed the construction of the blocks in the project. At the same time, 2 sales phases with nearly 600 apartments were launched, receiving great attention from the people.
Currently, the project still has 0.4 hectares of land that has not been handed over. This is the area where it is expected to build a school, medical station and cultural house at the project.
The above project was visited by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in July 2023. Here, the Prime Minister requested that Bac Ninh province be used as a model for social housing development and replicated nationwide.
Cat Tuong Smart City social housing project has a total investment of more than 1,778 billion VND, will build synchronous social infrastructure with green parks, regulating lakes, gym - yoga center, commercial center, general hospital, inter-level school, restaurant system, hotel, smart parking lot.
The project is 200 m from Yen Phong Industrial Park, 10 km from Bac Ninh city, 19 km from Noi Bai airport and 30 km from Hanoi city center.
