Implementing the new urban area and urban renovation project in Dong Hoa ward, the whole district has 2 households of Mr. Hoang Van Thang and Mr. Vu Huu Nghi using land that is subject to land acquisition and has not yet handed over the site.
In particular, Mr. Hoang Van Thang's household used 2 parcels of land, Mr. Vu Huu Nghi's household used 1 parcel of land. Based on the provisions of the law, the district's authorities have developed compensation and support plans for 2 households to ensure the rights of the people. Leaders of the District People's Committee and other authorities and People's Committees of Dong Hoa ward have directly explained, propagated and mobilized on compensation and support policies. However, on May 21, 2 households still did not agree with the compensation and support plan.
To ensure the project's progress, the District People's Committee plans to carry out land recovery enforcement on June 5 if households continue to not comply with the land recovery decision and do not hand over the site to the authorities.
Concluding the conference, the leader of Kien An District People's Committee emphasized that the implementation of compensation and support for site clearance must ensure all legitimate and legal rights of citizens on the basis of compliance with legal regulations.
The competent authority will carefully review, explain in detail, review, and verify all related contents. At the same time, develop a detailed enforcement plan, proactively prepare to meet the necessary conditions.
Relevant sectors and units continue to propagate, mobilize, and persuade households to understand, agree and promptly hand over the site for the new urban area project and urban renovation of Dong Hoa ward. If the two households do not agree to receive compensation, support and hand over the site, the locality will resolutely organize compulsory land recovery.
