If Da Nang encroaches on the sea of Da Nang Bay, it should only encroach from the mouth of Han River to Thanh Khe because the sea water is turbid yellow, not clear because near the mouth of Han River, it is difficult to develop natural sea tourism, but the prime location can encroach on the sea as a financial, commercial, tourism, artificial sea center...
Responding to this issue, a representative of the Department of Construction of Da Nang City said that the city is currently assigning departments, branches and sectors to study and develop a pilot project for a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of a national dynamic urban area at sea in Da Nang City, and submit them to central agencies for consideration.
In addition to researching mechanisms and policies, research on natural, economic, social, technical and environmental conditions also poses many strict requirements because there are many challenges, especially issues related to the environment, natural landscape and marine ecosystem.
In the process of developing the project and implementing the following related procedures, relevant departments and branches are continuing to carefully study geological, terrain, hydrological, flow factors... while comprehensively assessing the environmental, landscape and ecosystem impacts, to ensure sustainable, harmonious development and minimizing the impact on nature.
According to the leader of the Da Nang Department of Construction, the unit respectfully receives opinions and contributions from citizens on the idea of sea encroachment in the Da Nang Bay area and will recommend to the city, forward to the host agency according to the management field and according to authority in the process of researching and developing the project and related procedures, ensuring sustainable development orientation.
Previously, at the meeting with voters, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, said: The city is studying the project and calling for investment in building 5 floating islands in Da Nang Bay, which will create about 48 km of new sea roads on these islands.
This is a very large and very specific project, the city is directing to continue to research carefully, develop a special plan and find an investment method with very special mechanisms to develop similar to the current Dubai model.
The People's Committee of Da Nang City has also established a working group to study the idea of sea encroachment in Da Nang Bay. This working group includes the group leader being the Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, the deputy group leader being the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, and members being directors of a number of departments and branches.
