On the afternoon of August 4, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police, Da Nang City Police, said that they had just promptly extinguished a fire that broke out at a 3-storey house on Nuoc Thuong 3 Street, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang City.
The fire broke out at around 2:20 p.m. the same day, in the bedroom on the 2nd floor of the house, when there were no residents. The fire quickly created a column of black smoke rising high, causing many people around to panic and immediately call the authorities.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Ngu Hanh Son area, under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Da Nang City Police quickly dispatched 3 fire trucks, 1 command vehicle and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene.
After about 20 minutes of efforts to control the fire, the fire was completely extinguished, not allowing it to spread to other rooms in the house.

The authorities also promptly moved a car parked in the yard out of the danger zone, and safely brought many valuable items out. Initial statistics show that the fire damaged some equipment in the bedroom on the 2nd floor, causing no human casualties.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
