On October 19, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a decision regulating the land area used to build works directly serving agricultural production in Dong Nai.
Construction works directly serving agricultural production include rest houses, sheds, camps to serve workers, works to preserve agricultural products, store pesticides, fertilizers, machinery, tools and other auxiliary works.
The land area for construction of works to directly serve agricultural production is specified as follows:
Land area (total area of one or more adjacent plots) from 500m2 to less than 5,000m2, construction works not exceeding 25m2.
Land area from 5,000 m2 to less than 10,000 m2, land area used for construction works not exceeding 50 m2.
Land area from 10,000 m2 to less than 50,000 m2, construction area of land not exceeding 75 m2.
Land of 50,000 m2 or more is used to build works with an area of no more than 100 m2.
The decision does not allow constructions directly serving agricultural production on rice-growing land, forestry land and land areas with agricultural land used in combination with residential land plots.
The decision takes effect from October 28, 2024.
