On March 1, Vietnam Auction Joint Stock Company coordinated with Thanh Oai district to auction 54 plots of land.
According to Lao Dong, the auction attracted about 350 participants. Compared to recent auctions in Thanh Oai district with more than 100 participants, this auction recorded a larger number of people, showing that land auctions are "hot" again.
Talking to reporters, a man named Long (name changed) said that his group participated in the auction of all land lots in today's auction.
Although the auction has not yet begun, Mr. Long said that outside the auctioned land, his group has had people offering for sale at a difference of 100 - 200 million VND/plot. This man affirmed that he could definitely win some plots of land in the auction because he had experience participating in many sessions in Thanh Oai district.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Dinh (Thanh Oai, Hanoi) said that her group had 3 people, each of whom would auction 15 plots of land. She predicts the highest winning price in this auction to be about 60 million VND/m2.
54 plots in the auction on January 1 were divided into three groups according to each starting price. The first group consists of 6 plots with a starting price of 16.3 million VND/m2; the second group consists of 24 plots with a starting price of 15.6 million VND/m2. The third group includes 24 plots with a starting price of 10.9 million VND/m2. Accordingly, the plots of land have starting prices ranging from over VND656 million to over VND1.3 billion. The deposit ranges from 130 million VND to 265 million VND per plot.
The total area of 54 plots of land is 4,405.04m2; the plots of land have an area of 60.01m2 to 85m2.
The form is to auction in groups of plots of land by direct secret ballot in one round. For each group of auctioned land plots, auction participants are given a bidding form to record the bid price. The method is to bid up.
Previously, on August 10, 2024, Thanh Oai district organized an auction of 68 land lots, of which the highest winning plot was up to more than 100 million VND per m2.
Accordingly, 68 plots of land in Thanh Cao commune, Thanh Oai district were auctioned with an area of 60 - 85 m2. The starting price ranges from 8.6 to 12.5 million VND per square meter.
The auction attracted 4,600 applications, but only 4,201 qualified applications from 1,545 people.
Notably, although the deadline for paying the auction fee for 68 plots of land in Ngo Ba area, Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao commune has expired, only 13 plots of land have paid in full, all of which are plots with low winning prices. The plot of land with a winning price of more than 100 million VND/m2 has not yet paid the winning bid and has abandoned the deposit.
