On July 29, Vung Tau City People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to embellish Thuy Van street (Bai Sau area, Vung Tau city). This is a public investment project from the provincial budget, with two main items: renovating and upgrading technical infrastructure of Thuy Van street and building Thuy Van park, with a total investment of more than 1,094 billion VND.
The project's investment policy was approved by the Provincial People's Council on February 29, and the Provincial People's Committee decided to approve the project with detailed contents.

According to Vung Tau City Construction Investment Project Management Board , this is one of the important projects aiming at the goal of "Developing Vung Tau City into a high-quality, world-class tourism center".
Currently, compensation and site clearance work is being urgently carried out. There have been 7/9 units handing over the premises with a total area of more than 13.9 hectares (reaching a rate of 83%). As for the two units that have not yet done so, if they do not coordinate to hand over the premises, Vung Tau City People's Committee will review the legal basis to use enforcement according to regulations.
