On the morning of December 19, joining the exciting and exciting competition atmosphere of the whole country, the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration of 234 works and projects to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance Day were held simultaneously nationwide in the form of direct combinations online at 79 locations.
In Hung Yen province, the locality held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Social Housing Project in Pho Hien ward. This is one of the key projects of the province, with a total estimated investment capital of about 7,000 billion VND.
The project is implemented on a land area of about 31.5 hectares, with a total construction floor area of about 500,000 m2, to concretize the goal of developing 1 million social housing units in the period of 2021-2030 according to the policy of the Party and State, meeting the housing needs of low-income people, workers and laborers.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc - Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee emphasized that in the competitive atmosphere to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party, the organization of the groundbreaking ceremony of the Social Housing Project in Pho Hien ward has profound political, economic and social significance.
The project demonstrates the high determination of the Party Committee, government and people of Hung Yen province in effectively implementing the Party's major policies and the State's policies on developing social housing, ensuring social security and caring for people's lives.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province affirmed that developing social housing is one of the key tasks identified by the Party and the State, to ensure the right to housing for people, especially civil servants, public employees, officers, soldiers of the armed forces, low-income workers and workers in industrial parks.
In recent times, Hung Yen province has focused on leading, directing, and issuing many synchronous mechanisms, policies and solutions to promote the development of social housing, considering this an important driving force for sustainable development.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province expressed his deep gratitude to the Party, the State, central departments, ministries and branches for always paying attention and creating conditions to support the province in the process of socio-economic development and investment in infrastructure construction. At the same time, he acknowledged and commended the efforts of departments, branches, sectors, local authorities of Pho Hien ward, people in the project area and investors who have actively coordinated, accelerated the preparation progress, and cleared the site so that the project can be eligible to start construction.
In order for the project to be implemented on schedule, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to focus resources, organize scientific construction, strictly comply with the provisions of the law on investment, construction, land and environment; especially focus on project quality, implementation progress, social housing costs, ensure the right beneficiaries, publicity, transparency, and avoid negativity and policy profiteering.
