On the afternoon of April 29, in Sa Pa ward, Lao Cai province, the groundbreaking ceremony of the O Quy Ho Tea Hill Eco-urban Area Project (EcoSapa) with a total investment of more than 2,400 billion VND took place.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Huu Van - former member of the Party Central Committee, former State Auditor General, former Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Hoang Giang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with leaders, former provincial leaders and representatives of departments and branches.
The project has a scale of about 29.3ha, invested by Hong Phong Investment and Development Co., Ltd. and Ecopark Hai Duong Investment JSC.
According to the plan, the urban area is developed according to an ecological model, combining housing with commerce, services and resort tourism.
In which, the project is expected to build 65 townhouses, 293 resort villas, and 6 commercial center and hotel complexes with a scale of about 300 rooms, 5-star standards.
In addition, the urban area also arranges an internal school system including inter-level schools and high-quality kindergartens, aiming to form a synchronous living space, serving the needs of accommodation, resort and tourism.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, highly appreciated the investor's preparation when completing financial procedures, planning, design and construction permits, meeting the conditions for commencement according to regulations. This shows the proactiveness and professionalism of the enterprise as well as the province's companionship in improving the investment environment.
Mr. Hoang Giang requested the investor to focus resources, organize scientific construction, ensure progress, quality, safety and environmental protection; functional agencies continue to support and promptly remove obstacles so that the project can be implemented effectively and promote value after completion.
