On the morning of March 19, in Dien Bien province, the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School project took place in border communes: Na Sang, Muong Pon, Muong Cha, Muong Nhe and Na Hy.
The projects are all planned in favorable locations, ensuring clean land fund, infrastructure connection and construction organization conditions.
Schools invested according to the multi-level model include: classroom blocks, dormitories, dining rooms, multi-purpose buildings and auxiliary items.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of Na Sang inter-level boarding school, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang proposed that Dien Bien province identify this as a key task, mobilize the entire political system to participate, and create the most favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule and ensure quality standards.
The Minister of Finance also requested design, construction, and supervision units to work with the highest sense of responsibility to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, striving to complete the progress to soon put the project into operation and use.
The Inter-level Boarding School project in Na Sang commune (area of about 5.9 ha), Muong Pon commune (about 6.5 ha) is invested by Dien Bien Provincial Police.
Dien Bien Provincial Military Command is the investor of the inter-level boarding school project in Muong Cha commune (about 6 hectares), Muong Nhe commune (about 6 hectares).
Inter-level boarding school in Na Hy commune (about 6 hectares) invested by the Project Management Board of Civil and Industrial Works of Dien Bien province.


Previously, Dien Bien province had built 10 multi-level boarding school projects in border communes: Si Pa Phin, Nua Ngam, Na Bung, Sam Mun, Thanh Nua, Quang Lam, Thanh Yen, Muong Nha, Nam Ke and Sin Thau.
In which, Si Pa Phin inter-level boarding school (Si Pa Phin commune) was inaugurated on January 31, 2026. This is the first project to reach the finish line in the campaign to build schools in border areas according to the policy of the Politburo.
The remaining 9 schools have completed investment procedures, selected contractors and are simultaneously implementing the main items, such as ground leveling, foundation and school structure.
