This is the next step of the investor - IGGHALONG Joint Stock Company and Global Financial Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company with local authorities to be able to start construction on the foundation in the first quarter of 2025.
The project to renovate and rebuild the old apartment building at lots 6, 7, 8, Tran Hung Dao ward, Ha Long city has a total construction area of 8,496.4 m², including the old apartment building of 5,717.5 m² (at lots 6, 7, 8, Tran Hung Dao ward, Ha Long city) and the traffic area and technical infrastructure of 2,778.9 m².
The apartment building has 2 blocks, one of which is 35 floors high for commercial services and offices, the other is 12 floors high for apartments and kiosks. The height of the building is about 144m.
The number of resettlement kiosks is 40, 145 resettlement apartments and 621 apartments.
The apartment building has a basement floor area of 10,468m2. The population size is about 1,800 people.
Total project investment capital is about 1,783.2 billion VND.
According to the plan, the foundation will be completed by the third quarter of 2025 at the latest, then the construction of the main part will be carried out from the fourth quarter of 2025 to the second quarter of 2026. The finishing part is expected to be from the third quarter of 2026 to the second quarter of 2027 and completed and put into use in the second quarter of 2027.
Expected handover time of resettlement houses is from quarter 3.2027 to quarter 4.2027.
Previously, the apartment project at lots 6, 7, 8, Tran Hung Dao ward, Ha Long city was deployed since 2016.
Also since 2016, residents of this apartment complex have been relocated to make way for the project. However, due to problems in site clearance, the project has been delayed. This has caused voters to continuously raise their opinions at meetings of the Ha Long City People's Council as well as the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council.
By March 2024, Ha Long City People's Committee held a conference to collect opinions from apartment owners on selecting the project investor.
Then, in July 2024, the People's Committee of Ha Long City issued Decision No. 8931/QD-UBND "On approving the compensation, support and resettlement plan for owners and users of apartment buildings under the Project to renovate and rebuild old apartment buildings lots 6, 7, 8, Tran Hung Dao ward, Ha Long city.
