Gia Lai - The Inspectorate transferred the entire dossier to the Provincial Police Department, recommending prosecuting a series of officials related to land violations in Quy Nhon Tay Ward.

On November 16, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of the Gia Lai Provincial Inspectorate said that this agency had sent a document to the Provincial Police Department, requesting prosecution and transfer of related documents, after completing the inspection of land management work in Quy Nhon Tay Ward.

Previously, on October 22, the Gia Lai Provincial Inspectorate had an inspection conclusion on this case. Through inspection, the inspection agency found that the leaders and civil servants of Phuoc My Commune People's Committee (old Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh; now Quy Nhon Tay Ward, Gia Lai Province) showed signs of violating the law.

Related people include: Mr. Cao Minh Thi - Chairman of Phuoc My Commune People's Committee; Ms. Dang Thi Tuyet Nhung - Vice Chairman of Phuoc My Commune People's Committee; Mr. Do Nguyen Dinh and Mr. Le Cong Trang, land officials of Phuoc My Commune.

In addition, it was found that Ms. Le Thi Chanh Tuyet had signs of violating criminal law.

Based on the 2025 Inspection Law and the direction of the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee on handling inspection results, the Chief Inspector of the province recommended that the Provincial Police Investigation Agency consider, prosecute according to regulations and notify the Provincial Inspectorate of the results of handling the case.

The Provincial Inspectorate transferred the case file and documents related to the case to the Provincial Police Department for consideration and settlement according to regulations.

According to the reflection, the land plot of more than 2,500m2 in Thanh Long village (Phuoc My commune) was previously under state management and was used by Phuoc Thanh 3 Cooperative (dissolved). However, this land plot was unexpectedly granted a Land Use Rights Certificate to a household.

After that, the land was divided into plots and transferred to many individuals, including cadres, leaders and relatives of the leaders of the old Phuoc My commune. The market value of the land is currently about 50 billion VND.

Among them, there are Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy (wife of Mr. Cao Minh Thi - former Chairman of the People's Committee of the old Phuoc My Commune, now Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quy Nhon Tay Ward); Ms. Tran Thi Nhi (former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc My Commune, now an officer of the People's Committee of Quy Nhon Tay Ward); Mr. Do Nguyen Dinh (former cadastral officer of the old Phuoc My Commune).
