Information from Hanoi City Police said that at around 9:02 p.m. on November 15, 2025, at house number 28, lane 80 Trung Kinh street, Yen Hoa ward, Hanoi, a fire broke out in a high-rise house, leaving one person trapped inside.
Upon receiving the report, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center mobilized Fire Fighting and Rescue Teams (CNCH) of areas No. 2 and No. 11 - Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to deploy 4 fire trucks and more than 20 officers and soldiers to the scene.
At the same time, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department also dispatched another command vehicle to the scene to directly direct fire fighting and rescue work.
At the scene, the authorities determined that the fire broke out on the 7th floor of the 7-storey house and there were still people trapped. The fire fighting commander immediately deployed forces to use protective equipment and air intakes, organized reconnaissance, approached the upper floors to search for victims; and deployed firefighting teams to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring areas.
After about 30 minutes of effort, by 9:32 p.m., the fire was completely controlled. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force brought the victim, Ms. N.T.T (born in 1988, homeowner) to a safe location by foot stairs.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
