On September 11, the People's Committee of Quy Nhon Nam Ward (Gia Lai) launched a campaign to enforce the demolition of illegal constructions in the area to restore order in land management, after Lao Dong Newspaper reported.
On September 11 and 12, Quy Nhon Nam ward launched a campaign to enforce the demolition of 4 violating works, including 3 works that were requested for self-dismantling and 1 work that was directly demolished by the ward's functional forces.

According to the representative of the People's Committee of Quy Nhon Nam Ward, the owners of the 4 violating works subject to enforcement cannot be identified. Of which, there are 3 newly arising works and 1 old existing work located along National Highway 1D - one of the cases that the newspaper has reported.
"This morning, the enforcement of the violating construction on National Highway 1D has been completed, the locality will continue to review and gradually handle the remaining cases, because the number is still large," he said.

According to the records, the demolished project has just been rebuilt with a solid structure such as concrete floors, a steel frame system, iron pillars and partitions built to divide into many rooms. The total area of illegal construction is about 90m2.
As Lao Dong Newspaper has reported, for nearly 3 years, illegal constructions on forest land and agricultural land in Quy Nhon Nam Ward have been blatantly existing, even continuing to bulge and "boil" despite being handled and forced to be demolished. Along National Highway 1D alone, a series of illegal constructions have sprung up solidly and majestically, occupying the entire frontage of the national highway.

According to the People's Committee of Quy Nhon Nam Ward, from July 1, 2025 (after the merger) to now, the ward has inspected and discovered 14 cases of land encroachment, of which 3 works were forced to be demolished, 3 cases were demolished by the people themselves, the remaining 8 cases are waiting to be handled.
From the beginning of 2023 to before July 1, 2025, the old Ghenh Rang ward has prepared documents and developed a plan for enforcement against 86 cases of illegal construction on agricultural and forestry land. Of which, there are 23 cases in the first 6 months of 2025.

For violating constructions along National Highway 1D, in the past, the People's Committee of the old Ghenh Rang ward has enforced the demolition of 43 cases. As for establishments selling food, chicken lonely... along this route, the old Ghenh Rang ward has administratively sanctioned 16 cases of violations, but to date, these works still exist.
Faced with this situation, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that he would direct the strict handling of violations. "This is a burning issue for the province, it is necessary to completely handle this situation," Mr. Tuan resolutely said.
