According to Article 27 of Decree 123/2024/ND-CP, the fines for violations of regulations on documents and certificates in land use are as follows:
- A fine of VND 2,000,000 to VND 5,000,000 shall be imposed for cases of erasing, correcting, or falsifying the content of documents and certificates in land use that do not fall under the cases specified below.
- A fine of VND 5,000,000 to VND 10,000,000 shall be imposed for cases of dishonest declaration of land use or erasure, correction, or falsification of the contents of documents and certificates in land use leading to errors in the issuance of Certificates and the conversion, transfer, lease, inheritance, donation, mortgage, and capital contribution using land use rights that are not yet serious enough to warrant criminal prosecution.
- A fine of VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000 shall be imposed for using fake documents in carrying out administrative procedures and other land-related work that is not yet serious enough to warrant criminal prosecution.
In addition to the fine, documents that have been erased or altered to distort the content and used fake documents will also be confiscated.
At the same time, cancel the results of administrative procedures on land that have been carried out according to regulations for cases of using fake documents in carrying out administrative procedures and other work related to land.
Note: The above fine is the fine for individuals and organizations committing the same violation, the fine is twice the fine for individuals (Clause 2, Article 5, Decree 123/2024/ND-CP).
