At the 2026 Business Dialogue Forum with the theme "Removing obstacles - Breakthrough success" held on the morning of May 8, Da Nang City Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang respectfully acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the business community (DN) and investors to the city's development.

According to reports, from the beginning of 2026 to now, the city has issued new registration certificates for nearly 2,800 businesses (an increase of more than 44% in number and more than 85% in registered capital compared to the same period in 2025). In particular, the number of businesses returning to operation also increased by nearly 5%.
The index of administrative procedure resolution serving people and businesses in Da Nang increased from 34/34 at the end of 2025 to 8th/34 provinces and cities today.
This result shows that if there is high determination, the way of doing things correctly and drastic action, the apparatus can completely move faster and more effectively" - Secretary Le Ngoc Quang emphasized.
Implementing Conclusion No. 77 of the Politburo and Resolution No. 170 of the National Assembly, Da Nang has focused all efforts on removing difficulties for works and projects. To date, the city has completed handling obstacles for 1,984/2,035 projects (reaching a rate of 97.5%), unlocking huge resources with a total investment capital value of more than 456,000 billion VND.
However, the Secretary of the City Party Committee requested not to be subjective when there are still many prolonged backlog projects, especially in the southern area of the city, which need to be resolved thoroughly to put into production and business, avoiding wasting social resources.
It is necessary to strongly shift from the thinking of "resolving procedures" to the thinking of "solving problems for businesses"; from passively receiving to proactively accompanying. Da Nang's competition in the future is not only incentives, but more importantly, the speed of handling work and service quality" - Secretary Le Ngoc Quang directed.
Specifically, city leaders requested units to implement the principle: "Clear people, clear tasks, clear responsibilities, clear time and clear output results". Issues under the city's authority must be resolved thoroughly, not to be prolonged causing loss of opportunity for investors.
