In the afternoon of May 7, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council and the working delegation had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Phu An Ward Party Committee.
The working content is on socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building and political system in the area, especially removing key projects and works.
According to Mr. Tran Bao Lam - Chairman of Phu An Ward People's Committee, the locality is currently implementing 6 key urban projects with an area of nearly 1,650 hectares. The projects have a total investment capital of about 260,000 billion VND.
In which, two projects, Dong An Tay Urban Area with a scale of more than 288 ha and Tay An Tay with a scale of 268 ha, have selected investors, started construction and have a large area in Phu An ward.
In addition, there are also Tay Phu An urban area projects with a scale of 288.4ha; Tan An 1B new urban area with a scale of more than 235 ha; Tan An 1A new urban area with a scale of nearly 283 ha and urban development area No. 6 with a scale of more than 284 ha.
According to Phu An Ward People's Committee, in the process of implementing projects, there are still some difficulties and obstacles. The locality proposes that departments, branches and city leaders soon have opinions to remove obstacles to accelerate the implementation progress.
Phu An Ward People's Committee has proposed to the Department of Finance to soon advise the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to issue a document authorizing the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee to approve the bidding documents, and at the same time support the provision of bidding data for land use rights.
In addition to 6 urban projects, many projects are also being implemented in the ward such as Phu An Ward Administrative Center, roads, parks and schools.
Speaking to direct at the working session, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council emphasized that the planned projects in Phu An ward are very large-scale, methodical and will contribute to shaping a new face for the locality in the coming time.
Mr. Vo Van Minh said that the city's working delegation came to work to listen to and accompany localities to remove difficulties and promote the progress of key projects; at the same time, he requested departments and branches to study and soon respond to local recommendations to create motivation for the city's development.
