In his role as a contributor to the design language creation team for those iconic projects, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Trieu - Deputy Director of Masterise Homes Design - has worked with us to create slides on design philosophy, the harmony between indigenous cultural values and global standards and future design trends of branded real estate in Vietnam.

Hi, Masterise Homes has just been honored at one of the most prestigious design and architecture awards in the region. Representative of the Design Department of Masterise Homes, could you share about the consistent design philosophy applied to the winning projects as well as the general philosophy that Masterise Homes is pursuing?
- In the process of creating projects, we always adhere to the fundamental principles in product development, revolving around customer needs, creating optimal living spaces with connectivity and bringing truly in-depth living experiences and living values.
Ensuring the values of life are expressed from every day, very everyday, that is safety, cohesion, convenient essential services, higher is the connection of people with each other, connecting with within themselves and higher is the remembrance of national identity. Simply put, how residents feel more convenient while still maintaining high-quality living standards; residents are allowed to live in a harmonious, balanced environment between landscape space, convenient infrastructure and especially have good connections, feel the sustainable value of the place they live in, not just the story of architecture or the number of utilities, but more is the feeling of safety, attachment, and pride.

In the current real estate portfolio of Masterise Homes, each product line that we develop has its own personality and identity but all ensure 4 core criteria: sophistication in every detail; Products inspired by heritage, connecting the origin with the present and the future; Recognized quality, guaranteed value over time and products recognized internationally.
With The Centric (Hai Phong), in your opinion, what is the difference that helps the project be awarded the Best Architectural Design Award in Asia? Is it the biggest challenge for the Masterise Homes design team to maintain the "soul" of Vietnamese identity and be recognized in the international arena when developing this project?
- "Stile in every detail" and "heritage inspiration" continue to be two important factors that help us shape the design style for The Centric. Masterise Homes hopes to create a strong impression of Hai Phong's identity - a city with a rich culture and a very unique atmosphere. It is the typical cultural symbols of the port city such as the brilliant red color of royal poinciana flowers in the fall season, the image of the majestic Elephant Mountain, the immense water of Lan Ha Bay... that have become the emotional material for each space, scene, and rhythm of each block of houses.

The Centric is divided into four streets: East integrated, West considered a port, South excited, North trade. In which, each area has its own personality and expression, like the four colors of a changing city. From there, we have shaped The Centric as a symbol of "Commercial - Entertainment - Culture" with the pride of local people, expressing the aspiration to reach the level of a dynamic Hai Phong.
In fact, combining indigenous spirit with the breath of the times is a challenge but also a strong source of inspiration for Masterise Homes' design team. Distillation of the quintessence of local identity to put the resilient and free-flowing "irons" of Hai Phong people into each design line of the project, we consider The Centric a harmony between architecture, art and indigenous culture.
At the same time, Masterise Homes ensures all standards from functionality, sustainability to user experience. All products carry a consistent development philosophy: creating an international standard lifestyle, where residents find the resonance between personal values and the mark of living space, between local culture and global lifestyle. Localization is not an addition - that is the core factor to create a lifestyle suitable for Vietnamese customers, but still competitive enough with demanding markets in the world.
As for The Rivus villa - which just won the "Best Housing Design in Asia 2025", can you share the heartfelt thoughts in the design language to create a "brand" standard for this project?
- I am especially moved when every detail of the luxury villa at The Rivus is cared for like an exquisite handicraft imbued with the heritage spirit of the famous fashion house Elie Sabb. We also believe that a masterpiece of branded real estate not only requires excellent design language, but must also be created from the understanding and honor of the land where the project is located. At The Rivus, the architecture and planning are designed to blend with the flow of two large rivers embracing the entire land, the Dong Nai River and the Tac River, creating a rare standard of riveride goods living.
Almost all of the villas are arranged facing the river, surrounded by green space and a large garden. The spaces are opened to the maximum towards the water surface, so that the wind and natural light become a part of every daily moment of the residents.

The Rivus also owns a private yacht right in the inner area and a 760-meter riverside walking path, creating a different standard of living, where nature, architecture and personal privileges blend into a quiet and proud luxurious life.
What expectations do you have for future design trends, and what will Masterise Homes do to catch up with this trend?
- I believe that in the future, the design trend will continue to develop in a sustainable direction, deeply personalized, experiential and cultural, while promoting the preservation of traditional cultural values and enhancing community-based experiences.
That is also similar to the consistent orientation of Masterise Homes: applying extensive international experience to create global-style living standards, but still with local depth. Masterise Homes' projects can have strong Asian inspiration in architectural design, but must meet international standards in quality, services and operations. That is where residents find peace of mind in each service, meticulousness in each experience, and a sense of pride in living in a space that truly reflects their own lifestyle and class.
