In September 2026, the Tax Base 2 of Khanh Hoa province signed a document responding to the content of recalculating land use fees of permanent residents in Cam Lam commune.
Previously, Mr. N.D (resident of Cam Lam commune) reflected that on June 30, 2026, he submitted a dossier requesting recalculation of land use fees at Cam Lam Commune People's Committee.
According to Mr. N.D's reflection, Cam Lam Commune People's Committee then replied that the dossier had been transferred to the Tax Base 2 of Khanh Hoa province from July 1, 2026.
However, more than 2 months later, Mr. N.D still had not received a notice of financial obligations to return the amount calculated when changing land use purposes.
Faced with the above situation, Mr. N.D requested the tax authority to inspect and review the dossier and soon resolve the determination of financial obligations related to land.
Regarding the citizen's reflection, Mr. Nguyen Duc Toan - Head of Tax Department 2 of Khanh Hoa province signed a response document.
According to the Tax Base 2 of Khanh Hoa province, after reviewing the dossiers attached to Mr. N.D's complaint and recommendation, this agency determined that the Information Transfer Slip of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department - Cam Lam Commune People's Committee had errors.
The information transfer slip incorrectly identified the basis for being exempted and reduced from land use fees and incorrect citizen identification information. Therefore, the Tax Base 2 of Khanh Hoa province does not have a basis to issue a notice determining financial obligations for land for Mr. Nguyen Duc's dossier.
After the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department - Cam Lam Commune People's Committee forwarded information on September 8, 2026, the Tax Base 2 of Khanh Hoa province issued a Notice determining financial obligations for land on the same day.
Thus, the fact that Mr. N.D's dossier was not notified in the previous period stems from the inaccurate information in the Information Transfer Slip transferred by Cam Lam Commune People's Committee to the tax authority.
After the information was transferred back, the tax authority issued a notice determining financial obligations for land on September 8, 2026.
