Units of the Russian Southern Army Corps, with the support of unmanned system operators, have captured Ukrainian positions in the Druzhkovka suburbs of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and infantry are deploying raids into this city.
The information was given by the deputy company commander of the independent unmanned system regiment of the corps, codenamed "Artist", in a video released by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Our crews have occupied positions in the Druzhkovka suburbs. Infantry is trying to raid the city itself and is quite successful," he said.
According to this soldier, the units are operating according to a standard plan: cutting off the enemy's logistics lines to prevent the transfer of ammunition and supplies, while maximizing the use of drones.
Unmanned aerial vehicles are currently the most important deterrent and a key factor helping our brave infantry move forward," he added.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces are tightening the siege of Ukrainian units in the Kharkov region. "In the Kharkov region, units of the Northern Army Corps are tightening the siege around the enemy forces," the statement said.
Also according to this agency, in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian units trapped in the "pot of fire" in the Kharkov region have lost up to 35 soldiers, 1 armored fighting vehicle, 2 off-road vehicles and 4 ground robot systems.
