Patrick Vieira returns to the Premier League
Crystal Palace has officially appointed Patrick Vieira as head coach to replace Roy Hodgson. The London club signed the former French midfielder on a 3-year contract and assigned him the minimal task of successfully staying in the Premier League.
Vieira started his coaching career in New York City. Vieira worked in the US for two and a half years before returning to France to lead Nice in June 2018. At the start of the 2020-21 season, Nice's poor form led to Vieira being sacked.
