On the morning of September 11 (local time), a court in Turkey sentenced Arda Turan to 2 years, 8 months and 15 days in prison for the crimes of: Using; illegally possessing weapons and causing serious injuries.
However, luckily for the former Atletico Madrid and Barcelona striker, he was suspended if he did not commit a foul in the next 5 years. Of course, along with that, Turan had to pay a huge fee. The number was not disclosed.
The incident started in November 2018 when the midfielder had a fight with Turkish singer Berkay. Turan broke Berkay's nose and the singer was hospitalized.
Turan is said to have flirted with Berkay's wife and even challenged the marriage between the singer and his wife. According to Turan, he told his wife Berkay that if she had not been married, this midfielder would attack.
Berkay then took his wife home and returned to fight with Turan. As a result, everyone knew that Berkay was hospitalized and that Turan was questioned by the police just 24 hours later.
If only stopping at the fight, Turan would not have suffered such a scary suspension. The funny thing is that when he visited Berkay at the hospital, Turan brought a gun and stuck it in the patient's hand after a broken nose punch.
