In the peaceful countryside of Vinh Thuan hamlet, Vinh Hanh commune (Chau Thanh district, An Giang province), few people expected that a special shipbuilding workshop would "poster" it. The owner of this unique shipyard is Mr. Nguyen Phuong De (48 years old) - a man with a burning passion for ships, especially the heroic warships.

Mr. De said that the passion for the ships has been burning in his heart since the days he was a student. Without going through a systematic training course, he researched and learned every corner about the structure and design of ships through books, movies and when he had the opportunity to admire real ships.

Mr. De's journey to realize his passion started in 2018 with simple small models made from foam, Mr. De gradually improved his skills, carefully crafted every detail to make the product more sophisticated and achieve higher accuracy.
Not stopping there, he also spent time searching on social networks to improve the boat's crew material. He chose composite glue to create compact, mobility-proof, and durable ships. In order for ship models to "surf" on the water surface, he constantly learned the principles of the controller, receiving devices, receiving waves and controlling speed from experienced people.
After 2 years of both working and researching, in 2020, Mr. De's first composite ship capable of operating on water surface was officially completed, marking an important step forward in his "ship-breaking" career.

To complete a ship model, it requires many meticulous stages, from shaping, assembling, designing the body to processing small details according to the design of the real ship. The main materials he uses are composite and pima plastic, giving each ship a life of over 7 years.
Mr. De said that the most difficult part is the testing and selection of materials and components for remotely controlled aircraft carrier, because each stage has to be researched and tested many times to achieve satisfactory results.
To date, Mr. De's "ship workshop" has "landed" more than 40 model ships of all sizes and types. From powerful warships, modern aircraft carriers, legendary Titanic, luxury cruise ships to cargo ships and patrol ships.

The models are crafted in many different sizes, in which the popularity rate is 1/100 compared to the real ship version. In particular, there are "giant" aircraft carrier ships with a length of over 3m, capable of moving stably on the water surface, making viewers surprised. Each ship is a brainchild that Mr. De spends an average of 45 days completing, depending on the complexity of the design.
It is the meticulousness, meticulousness and outstanding quality that have helped Mr. De's boat models become sought after by collectors. Each miniature "warship" costs from several million to tens of millions of VND, depending on the size and detail, and is purchased by domestic and foreign enthusiasts of the model.
