Antony has turned down a chance to leave Manchester United for the third time this summer, as he is still waiting to return to play for Real Betis. The "Red Devils" have been trying very hard to sell the 25-year-old player since the transfer window opened.
Coach Ruben Amorim even named the player who played for the Brazilian national team 16 times in his "low- explosiveness" squad of five, alongside Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia.
No one in the years this name has been in the US to participate in the "Red Devils" pre-season tour, which ended with a 2-2 draw against Everton, when Man United won the Premier League Summer Series.
Of the years Amorim was left out of the plan, only Rashford found a new destination when he joined Barcelona on a season-long loan.

In Antony's case, Man United refused to let him go on loan and kept the £30 million price unchanged if they sold. This figure has fallen as much as 65% from the £86 million they spent to sign Antony from Ajax three years ago.
The Brazilian winger expressed his desire to return to play for Real Betis, but so far, the Spanish team has not been able to meet the price offered by M.U.
However, Antony has not lacked interest. He has previously rejected offers from two "big guys" in Brazilian football, Botafogo and Sao Paulo. Now, the star who was crushed at Old Trafford continues to reject a third offer, showing that he is still steadfast in the goal of returning to Real Betis.
Saudi Arabia's top team - Al-Nassr, where Antony's former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo is playing - has become the latest potential candidate to be rejected by the player.
According to Spanish media, the Brazilian winger is eager to return to Real Betis and has no intention of joining any other club at this time.
Antony is set to cut his current £4 million/year salary significantly to return to play for Manuel Pellegrini's side.
Real Betis are expected to resume negotiations with Man United in the next few days, as they prepare to enter the La Liga campaign in just two weeks.

Last week, Amorim discussed the futures of four players who were no longer in his plans. "There are players who clearly show they don't want to stay here, and that's normal.
It's not that they're bad and I'm good, nor that I'm bad and they're good. The simple problem is that they want to seek new challenges. So we will take advantage of this time to prepare for the squad that I believe will be with the club for a long time," Amorim said.
"If the transfer market closes and they are still Man United players, as a club, we will deal with them on the same platform.
But now, I only work with players that I think will stay, while others are trying to find solutions for their careers" - the Dutch captain added.
