Real Madrid has officially announced the squad for the 2025 Club World Cup this summer. The list includes new signings such as Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold, as well as 10 academy players.
This is the first official squad of new head coach Xabi Alonso. He has selected all first-team players, except for Ferland Mendy, Antonio Rüdiger, Endrick and Eduardo Camavinga - who are recovering from injuries. However, the good news is that Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao have returned to normal training after recovering from serious injuries.
Defenders Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold will make their Madrid debut in this tournament. In addition, there are 10 young players Fran Gonzalez, Sergio Mestre, Youssef, Diego Aguado, Jacobo Ramon, Jesus Fortea, Chema Andres, Mario Martin, Gonzalo Garcia and Victor Munoz.
This is a valuable opportunity for them to demonstrate their talents and accumulate experience. Real Madrid entered the tournament with a combination of extensive experience, young talent and great ambition, ready to fight to win the first trophy under Xabi Alonso.
The FIFA Club World Cup takes place from June 15 to July 14 in the US. Los Blancos fell to Group H with opponents Al-Hilal, Pachuca and RB Salzburg.
