Luiz's contract with the Emirates team will expire on June 30, 2020. Coach Mikel Arteta was the one who suggested extending Luiz's contract. And many Gunners fans were outraged by the Spaniard's decision.
The former Chelsea player is considered a "disaster" contract of Arsenal. In the 2019/20 season, the Brazilian centre-back often made mistakes that directly led to goals conceded, forcing the home team to accept 4 penalties.
