fenway Sports Group (FSG) bought Liverpool in October 2010 for £300 million. At that time, The Kop was in crisis under the management of Tom Hicks and George Gillett. After 12 years, FSG decided to leave the game and leave behind a team with a lot of reputation and strength compared to when they were first in charge.

Liverpool currently have a total of seven members on the board. The three people holding more than 10% of the shares/person are Henry, Werner and Gordon. The CEO position belongs to Billy Hogan, who was also the sales director for FSG. Peter Moore had previously left as the fourth board member.
