In the second round of the U17 Asian group stage 2025, U17 Thailand received a 1-3 defeat to U17 Saudi Arabia. It was their second defeat from the beginning of the tournament, which means that there is no chance to go to the quarterfinals. On her personal page, President of the Thai Football Federation, Ms. Madam Pang expressed her sadness at the loss of Thailand U17, but still encouraged the players.
