In order to better promote the resources of players of Vietnamese origin to contribute to the club as well as the national team, recently, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has raised the issue, hoping that the Hanoi Police Club will naturalize defender Jason Pendant Quang Vinh - a player with a Vietnamese mother and a French father and has just joined the team before the 2024-2025 season.
This is a player who is highly regarded for his expertise. Jason Pendant Quang Vinh's ability is promising enough to contribute long-term to the Hanoi Police Club as well as further contribute to the Vietnam national team.
After joining the police team in the transfer window before the 2024-2025 season, Jason Pendant Quang Vinh immediately became the number 1 choice of coach Mano Polking. In the V.League, he played the full 270 minutes in the first 3 rounds of the Hanoi Police Club. Meanwhile, in the Southeast Asian Club Championship, this overseas Vietnamese player also played in both of the recent matches of the police team, with a total time of 168 minutes.
In the last two V.League seasons, VFF has allowed clubs participating in V.League to register players whose parents or grandparents are Vietnamese.
In 2023, Hanoi Police Club made efforts to naturalize goalkeeper Filip Nguyen, thanks to which the Vietnam national team had a quality addition in personnel at international tournaments.
