Specifically, the fine is 10,000,000 VND (Ten million VND) and the U11 Song Lam Nghe An team is banned from participating in football tournaments organized by VFF for a period of 2 years due to registering and using players of incorrect age; seriously violating the regulations of the 2024 National U11 Football Tournament.
In addition, VFF also revoked the title, cup, flag, medal and bonus of Song Lam Nghe An team at the 2024 National U11 Football Tournament.
In addition, the VFF Disciplinary Board also issued Disciplinary Decision No. 625: Banning Mr. Tran Quang Dung, Head of the U11 Song Lam Nghe An team from participating in football tournaments managed and organized by VFF for a period of 2 years due to registering and using players of incorrect age; seriously violating the regulations of the 2024 National U11 Football Tournament.
In addition, Disciplinary Decision No. 626: Banning Mr. Nguyen Quang Tho, head coach of the U11 Song Lam Nghe An team from participating in football tournaments managed and organized by VFF for a period of 2 years due to registering and using players of incorrect age; seriously violating the regulations of the 2024 National U11 Football Tournament.
Song Lam Nghe An Team and Mr. Tran Quang Dung and Mr. Nguyen Quang Tho have the right to appeal to the VFF Complaints Resolution Board according to the regulations of the Disciplinary Regulations of the Vietnam Football Federation (amended and supplemented in 2023).
Previously, at the 2024 National U11 Football Tournament, the Song Lam Nghe An U11 team won the championship after defeating the Bac Ninh U11 team in the final match.
However, during the tournament, there was a lot of information about U11 Song Lam Nghe An players cheating on their age, causing a stir in public opinion.
Specifically, some sources reflect that the player named BVB of the Nghe An team was 12 years old when he participated in the national U9 championship and won the championship in 2022. In the 2024 national U11 tournament, the BVB player continued to participate and was said to be 14 years old (born in 2010).

For all current players under the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Training Center, we commit to having all the necessary records and legal documents related to the athletes provided by their families such as: household registration certificate from the local Justice Department; identification number and Citizen Identification Card from the Public Security Department...".
